Who is Eligible to Join?
Cinfed Credit Union serves:
• most Federal and all Hamilton County employees,
• 
employees of many select employer groups in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area, (view a listing of all our select employer groups)
• all employees and retirees of any of our employer groups are eligible to join Cinfed, and
• your immediate family (including spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent or grandchild) by blood, marriage, or adoption is also eligible for membership. Introduce your entire family to the many benefits of membership at Cinfed.

Once you become a member of Cinfed, and you maintain an account, you’re always a member. Even if you switch jobs or move away.

How to Join: The USA Patriot Act requires financial institutions to take extra security measures to help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities. Cinfed is required to obtain, verify and record identifying information for everyone that opens an account. These procedures are designed to prevent crimes, such as identity theft and account fraud.

Please print and complete the Membership Application and bring it to any of our branch offices. When your account is opened you will be asked for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. You will also be asked for a valid government issued photo identification, such as a driver’s license, and verification of your social security number. Verification of your SSN can be on your driver's license, printed on a pay stub or your social security card.

For Employers: expand the benefits offered to your employees.

Rest assured this information is obtained only for purposes of complying with the law. As always we will respect and protect your privacy. Although these requirements may be inconvenient, they are a strong deterrent for terrorists and other criminals.
